Initially, the process seemed smooth with the promise of good after-sales service, but issues arose upon receiving the car. There were several errors in the paperwork, such as incorrect license numbers, that required immediate attention. The finance manager faced difficulties in sending and receiving copies over the internet, resulting in a delay of over a week before completion. Upon bringing the car in for service, I found the service department unresponsive to my concerns and defensive rather than providing clear explanations. This left me feeling uncertain about the situation. One issue involved the vehicle’s oil change schedule. The dashboard indicated it was time for an oil change much earlier than expected. According to the manual, the car adjusts the mileage/time between oil changes based on climate and other factors. The warranty specified oil changes every 5,000 miles, yet my car had only 2,040 miles after 11 months of ownership. The service manager explained that condensation accumulation over time adjusted the oil change intervals. After waiting for an hour and 20 minutes, I asked the service manager about the status of my vehicle. He informed me it was done but he had been on the phone for 20 minutes and couldn’t get to it. Another service advisor nearby offered to assist me with the checkout, prompting questions about why this hadn't happened earlier. Attached is a copy of my invoice noting the next service date as 02/18/2026 or at 5,040 miles, while the ticket inside the windshield states an oil change at 7,040 miles. Customers are left to choose between these options and hope the warranty remains valid. While purchasing a new car should be an enjoyable experience, the service received from the dealership was disappointing. I hope this feedback encourages the dealership to improve their services and interactions with customers. All customers deserve respectful treatment and high-quality service when making such a significant investment. Sincerely Dennis Chesney

The service I got was just OK. When I got there no one was in the service area and I had to wait about 10 minutes. Then I got my oil changed and it was fast so I was ok with waiting. After that I left and realized that after about 30 of driving there was some noise coming from under my hood. I called back to the dealership and spoke with someone and they said come back. I did. I was told that my under body shield wasn't put back on correctly. They fixed it so I was ok nothing else happened. They got to pay more attention and not move so fast. This could of lead to a costly problem.

JC is wonderful. Greg, the Sales Manager (not to be confused with the Service Manager) told my wife to be quiet and let him finish talking. Who does that? We bought a brand-new vehicle from them and it's still not functional. They couldn't find the part in the U.S., pulled it out of another vehicle and that made the functionality worse. Greg also lied and said the part was scratched, not bent. I employ them to provide the pictures, because I've seen them and with it being a dealer transfer with 250 plus miles when we purchased it, someone had an accident in that car before it was sold to us (Great isn't it) They still delivered it back to my wife however since they knew we are moving and made it our problem. It's been in the shop on 3 separate occasions, and it's only been just over a month. Lemon law really is a thing. Now we have to figure it out through a new state and GMC Corporate. I would still recommend JC, but Ewald, not in your life.

Vehicle was dropped off at 755am, at 309 pm I get a text stating green is great no further services are needed, so I waited for a further text telling me the vehicle is ready and to send the shuttle, waited 30 minutes and no text, so I called and talked to Tyler and he said the freon in the system was empty and they had not filled it yet, when I asked why it took from 755 am and 339 pm for an oil change and fluid flush and fill Tyler told me I am not the only customer and they have other cars to work on.He asked if I still wanted it filled and I had not seen the estimate, had i known how much it was i would have not allowed it as it was way overpriced for the work done, i arrived back at the dealership at around 445 and had to wait at least 20 more minutes for them to finish, this same work at a buick competitor does not take 9 hours to complete and costs around $350, I was given a 20 percent discount off my bill from Tyler but the bill by you was over $662 which is unacceptable.the quote from you to replace the tie rods inner and outer with alignment was $1450, the other buick dealers quote is $888 for the exact same parts and labor plus, including a brand new loaner and I also get a 15 percent discount as well.There is definitely price gouging going on at your dealership and I was the one that made the huge financial mistake of using you for service.on a side note, was told the a/c worked for 10 minutes and the blew warm air, problem is it takes some time driving to stabilize the system and it blew ice cold air for over an hour and still does, yet I was quoted for $955 to take apart the trunk and check for a leak in the rear evaporator, which is not necessary when the system functions fine, I work as a professional assembler for John Deere in horicon building gators that retail between $35000 and $78000 so lucky for me at least I have enough mechanical knowledge, evidently more than your own mechanics.I will never be back to your dealership for anything, this is the most appalling and disgusting transaction I have ever made at ANY dealership in the last 42 years.

I had an appointment regarding the air bag recall which was repaired successfully. I also had one TMPS sensor that needed replacement. I decide not to have the sensor replaced because of cost. During the process, they knocked out/disconnected the three other sensors that were fully operational when I arrived. They could not restore them, so I was very irritated and disgruntled. The service manager, Mr. Carravelle, wasn't very helpful. I may move my business elsewhere. I have purchased 2 Buick Enclaves at that location but under different management/Ernie von Scheldorn. I asked Ruby if it was done she said it was next because it was double booked. An oil change and rotate took 2.75 hours. I had an appointment at 2"00 pm I thought it would be taken then.

I went in without an appointment. I was greeted immediately by Tyler. He listened to why I was there. He told me to wait until he moved a couple of vehicles and he would take care of me. I needed a new tire (nail). He told me to take a seat in the waiting area. In just a few minutes he informed me he didn’t have the tire in stock and would it be ok to put the spare on until delivery driver could pick one up. Went back later and had the work completed. Kept me updated as the work was being done.

I'm having a recurring electrical issue when it rains. I've taken my vehicle back for repairs approximately 10 times, and their mechanics are unsuccessful after every visit. I spoke with the with the GM hoping find a resolution, and He seemed concerned, but has not responded or return my calls. I WOULD NOT!! recommend this business. They lack knowledge on vehicles sold here and they have poor communication skills. So if you have money to just throw down the drain, then this is the place that's willing to assist you in doing so.

Clean facilities. Professional staff. Only one GMC vehicle indoors for customers to look at. It was a bright yellow, de-badged regular cab Sierra. Super odd choice to be the only GMC option to see indoors. To get a great deal, I bought my truck out of state (June ‘26). This is my second oil change and I’m checking out local dealers. First was Boucher GMC in Waukesha. Boucher GMC building is way bigger, nicer and lively. Both Boucher and Ewald have very high prices. At the time I bought my truck ( Sierra AT4X) Ewald didn’t have any. Boucher came down $6k in price, but they were still $3k over the competition (Sinclair GMC in St Louis.) Do your homework. Even in Illinois, you can get the same exact vehicle Ewald is offering, with more factory options, at a lower price. Strangest part of my visit is the parking lot in front is totally empty. Yet, they park your vehicle after service way, way on the side of the building. Receptionist told me it was outside and to the side. I went outside and looked to the right, never expecting it’d be to the left because to the left was so far away. I honestly thought the area to the left was the Volkswagen dealership area. Couldn’t see or find my vehicle in the empty parking lot. Went inside and asked the service advisor if he knew where my truck was. Thought, maybe it’s still being washed. The service advisor pointed to the east side of the building (left). I had to look through the two glass walls. Second wall was a distance away. With all the vehicles in the drop off area, I could barely see the top of my truck. Thought to myself, “Oh $hit, it’s way over there.” Walked to the main entrance, exited the main entrance to the empty parking lot. Then walked east (left) in front of the three service entrance doors. Very large pile of snow covered what may have been a walk way (not sure). That forced me to walk around a landscaping area. Finally headed north and halfway down the side of the building. Crazy. With such high prices and little inventory, not entirely sure how Ewald stays in business. Recap: People - great. Service Experience - Pretty good. Vehicle delivery needs improvement. Facilities - Small, but OK (GMC's in the indoor showroom would be nice for customers to look at and sit in). Vehicle prices - Very poor, way too high.

This was the first service visit for a new 2025 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and everything was perfect. It was super easy to make the appointment. I was greeted upon arrival and quickly checked in by Christopher (who does an excellent job). The waiting area is clean and bright and the TV remote was available to change channels- now that is awesome! The service (oil change and tire rotation) was completed promptly and I was on my way in no time. Overall and excellent experience. Oh, and the men's restroom was sparkling clean-- another bonus for Ewald Buick GMC in Menomonee Falls, WI.
